Training in Novi Sad (2004-2006) Serbia (udruzenje homeopata)

In a two years intensive course in Novi Sad the CKH educated a group of about 50 students who at least had two years of basic training before. Among them, MD’s and therapists, many had longer training or even clinical experience too. To meet the needs of this heterogeneous group the training started with a general overview in a presentation: “The Way to the Remedy.” This included extensive blocks of Organon study and commentaries during the first year. After that Anne Vervarcke delved deep into the different views and Miasms theories and several teachers taught Anamnesis skills and techniques. Added to all this was a more systematic approach of the analysis and Materia Medica by the study of among others Scholten and Sankaran.

In a second part, called “The Way to the Cure”, theory was more focused on Reaction Patterns, Prognosis, Posology and Long Term case management.
In separate weekends our teachers elaborated on the mineral kingdom, the 6 lines and 18 rows of the Periodic Table, the Animal Kingdom (Spiders, Snakes, Mammals, Birds) and on Plants Kingdom giving information on Compositea, Solanancea, Loganacea, Ranunculaea, Papaveracea, Umbelliferea etc.
On a last seminar in January 2006 Anne presented her latest ideas on Imponderables and how to discern the ‘pattern’ in every case, within or without the 3 known kingdoms.

All this theory was demonstrated with mainly video cases (about 30) of which translated copies were handed out in advance in order to give the students the occasion to study them in full depth.
Video and live cases (clinics) illustrated following remedies: Lac Leoninum, Zirkonium, Mandragora, Bellis Perennis, Latrodectus m., Graphites, Psorininum, Hyoscyamus, Hydrophis, Diomedea, Selenium, Lanthanum, Carbo An., Magnesium C., Ozone, Albatros, Hydrogen, Merc, Mag-phos, Sumbul, Oncorinchu, Piper met, Acon., Hydrastis., Nat-mur and Mag.-mur., Bar c., Cuprum mur., Kali sulf., Med., Thallium.-brom, Ignatia , Palladium, Indium, Melilotus, Balsamum peruvianum, Arion Rufus, Zincum, Scandium, Helium, Lyssinum, Lilium tigrinum, Lac humanum, Lac defloratum, Columba, Lac lupinum, Nux mosch., Python , Kali c., Lithium-Fluor, Crocus, Echinacea, Morphinum, Chlorum, Naja , Oenanthe.

During those 2 years in the Clinical Sessions smaller groups saw live cases, be it intakes (about 35) or follow ups from new patients or their own cases. After the anamnesis the analysis was done in the group and guided and supervised by the visiting teachers. All this resulted in long days of hard and intensive interaction and learning experiences.

Those who volunteered presented themselves for assessment with live cases in October 2006. In small groups, students took live cases and made an analysis of their own and eachothers' anamnesis. Seven were handed over a certificate with good marks.

Anne Vervarcke concluded the advanced course with a lecture "On reality and Health": a plunge into the holographic universe interpreted by our holographic brain. The following topics were discussed: Quantum mechanics and reality, Health as an individual, maximized state of being, levels of experience and levels of treatment and Case taking in ‘The Eternal Now’. A morning was spent on Children’s cases. The following remedies were illustrated with video cases or presented themselves in clinics: Staph, Kali bromatum, Corydalis Formosa, Naja, Lacticum acidum, Rhus Tox, and again Ozone.
