CKH SEMINAR 2003: Jayesh SHAH

Jayesh Shah Again the CKH invited Jayesh Shah to come to lecture in Leuven to demonstrate the latest developments in the Bombay Method. Last year Rajan Sankaran talked in Les Herbiers in France about the big jump his thinking took, when he realised the Chief Complaint is the crystallisation point of the disturbance of the patient. He explained how this lead to a new approach in his anamnesis: how focussing on the chief complaint means a direct road to the vital level. In his book “Insight into Plants” he writes about his idea of the seven levels. One can subscribe on the level of facts/pathology and modalities (level 1 and 2), on the level of emotions (3) or delusions (4). When we thought we reached the bottom of the case, Rajan demonstrated now how we can continue to delve into the level of sensation (5) and even deeper to the level of energy patterns (6). The results seem to be much quicker and deeper in accordance e with the level one bases his subscription on.
Jayesh showed slowly and clearly how to focus on the chief complaint which makes the investigation in the ‘story’ unnecessary. He pointed out how the hand gestures are of major importance: they show where the energy of the disturbance is situated.

Day one began with a wonderful Rattus Rattus case. As Jayesh supervised the proving of the remedy, he’s the best person to give the core of the remedy picture. With the next cases it became clear how one can subscribe a plant remedy at the crossing point of miasm and sensation, even when the remedy is unknown to the homeopath…and with astonishing results ( the colitis ulcerosa case cured in 3 weeks with Aloë)

Next day we explored deeper the sensation of the animal remedies with two Lac-equinum cases. The third day all homeopaths having had a bit of difficulties with the big jump the new method means were convinced by the beautiful cases. The seminar motivated and encouraged homeopaths already working with this approach to go on with renewed confidence and inspired the others to try it.
The CKH, who is teaching the Bombay Method in its training centre for 12 years, felt very honoured to have for the first time in Belgium a speaker who could from first hand demonstrate the latest developments from this group to the homeopathic society.
