Seminar 2004: Nandita Shah.

Nandita Shah, a former colleague of Rajan Sankaran, and now living and working in Auroville, brought us about eight cases illustrating Rajan Sankaran's method. She demonstrated how in the anamnesis the Chief Complaint can be explored up to the level of the sensations, and how miasm- and kingdom-words can be picked up and can be used in the analysis. Her examples of remedies from the plant kingdom (peru balsam) that could hardly have been found in any other way were very convincing. Yet, Nandita also showed us that the 'new method' does not render all our previously existing knowledge superfluous, but goes a step ahead : from level four to level five.
In all her cases, she keeps using the repertory programs and the information in the Materia Medica. By her simple way of talking, Nandita gave us the message that we would all be perfectly able to solve the cases she showed us. The homoeopathic part was rounded off with an impressive Buteo case.

Finally, she gave a presentation of her philosophic views, concluding that 'the minimal dose for maximum effect' should not be restricted to homeopathy, but applies to all fields of life.
