Online lectures with Jenni Tree

Jenni Tree has been a well-received guest speaker at the CKH over the past 10 years. Her lectures based on her encyclopedical knowledge of the Materia Medica provided the audience with a meaningful frame and a structured pile of information about the plant families and groups she covered in these lectures. For those who had to miss on these occasions or who want to refresh the information, the CKH organises a series of online lectures in 2010.

My life has revolved around homeopathy since 1983, through patients, and then teaching, first of all in English colleges, and then worldwide; since 1994 I have proofread the books of Frans Vermeulen, and now spend a considerable time editing and designing books and journals for the homeopathic world, as well as lecturing and seeing patients.
Homeopathy is a totally involving study, giving one an insight into all realms and kingdoms. For many years I was entranced by the fascinating world of the Monera – the single-celled organisms, when I was editing Vermeulen’s book on the subject. This was followed by Fungi. Lately my interest has been in the Tree remedies, and I have also synthesised a huge amount of information on the Birds, Insects, Spiders and Snakes.
My aim is always to provide a clear structure for understanding either the philosophy or the different kingdoms of remedies, and to build on the innate information that each student already holds.
Workshops and lectures are illustrated with cases and information from many practitioners, old and new, and of course from the provings, and from literature, which was my first love. Copious notes are provided and input from participants is welcomed: thus we become more than the sum of our parts!
